Intrusion detection sensors have been one of our focus area of investments for last 3 decades. Intrusion detection sensors have applications in interior and Exterior extrusion detections.
It consists of perimeter area detectors and aquatic. Perimeter consists of line sensors and in-ground sensors. In the line sensors we have balanced magnetic switches, vibration, thot wire, fiber optic, strain sensitive, cable electrostatic field sensors. The in-ground sensors have Buried pressure line, Ported Coax buried line sensors, fiber optic, Geophone and magnetic sensors.
Area detector sensors high volumetric sensors and video detection sensors. In volumetric sensors there are infrared sensors, microwave sensors, passive infrared passive infrared, microwave, radar, laser radar sensors.
In aquatic there are underwater and over water sensors. Sonar and fabric optic and underwater radar and video detection motion sensors. A major goal of a security planner is to design a system that has a low false alarm rate, low nuisance alarm rate, low vulnerability to defeat and high probability of detection.
Adjusting a sensors parameters to improve one variable may have affect on the another therefore settings must often be balanced to achieve and acceptable overall level of performance.
